Massage Therapy

Robbin's massage therapy work includes mainly Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, and cranio-sacral therapy, as well as pregnancy massage. The pace is almost always slow, with an attentive meditative quality. Some of her clients receive energy medicine work exclusively. This work is gentle yet powerful, allowing for clearing, insight, grounding, and healing. Frequently Robbin's clients request a combination of massage and energy work. They often find the two modalities together bring the greatest results, whether for overall relaxation or physical and emotional healing.

Robbin loves doing pregnancy massage because it is an honor to participate in this awe-inspiring part of life. The work is soothing and relaxing for both mother and baby. According to documented studies, women who receive massage during pregnancy tend to have shorter labor, less need for medications during delivery, and their babies have higher Apgar scores (the measure of infant health at birth). Please click to see a Pregnancy Today journal article for more information on pregnancy massage. She is certified in massage for the childbearing year.
